Cars Toon: Mater’s Tall Tales is inspired by Disney/Pixar’s wildly popular animated shorts of the same name. A follow up last year’s successful Wii release, Toy Story Mania!, Cars Toon: Mater’s Tall Tales is part of the Mania! video game franchise, featuring fast-paced, multiplayer, family fun. The game is a frenzied pick-up-and-play experience to be enjoyed by everyone in the room. With up to four players at once, Mania! games reward competitiveness and cooperation among players. The game will bring Mater together with Lightning McQueen and the “Cars” gang for a new set of adventures, capturing the endearing sense of humor of everyone’s favorite tow truck. Players will join Mater and his pals as they relive the wild stories he conjures up about hilariously unpredictable events that may or may not have taken place. The voice of everyone’s favorite tow truck, Mater, will be supplied by Daniel Whitney, “Larry the Cable Guy,” who also voices the character in the film and cartoon shorts.

Mater Tall Tale Video Game

In Story Mode, fans play solo as they follow Mater through one of his epic tales. Each tale involves a series of levels that revolve around a particular story. For example, the first level “Rescue Squad Mater” tells the story of the night Mater became a fire truck. Players need to make their way through a race, help put out fires, catch falling objects from windows and carry items out of burning buildings.
Based on the performance each level, players will be awarded with coins. These coins can then be used to upgrade the player’s vehicle. The more challenges the player completes, the better their car becomes. With more than 30 mini games, there are ample opportunities to upgrade.
Mater’s Tall Tales stays true to the characters’ personalities. The games are simple but the controls make them challenging enough. Each mini game involves different game controls, so it is difficult for the player to get bored. It is a great game to get the whole family zooming all night, as it allows for up to four players.

Cars Toon Martin Detective Prive | Mater Private Eye [French]

The French Version Of Mater Private Eye - Martin Detective Prive Is Available Online.

Mater Private Eye is the ninth episode in the Cars Toon series. It was released on DVD and Blu-ray a few days ago on November 2, 2010 and will air sometime in 2011 on TV.
While the English Version of this Mater Tall Tale short is still available only on DVD , the French Version , Martin Detective Prive , is currently available online.

As all Mater Tall Tales , the installment unravels a story that may be true or fiction. This time Mater plays the role of a private investigator trying to solve the case of Mia's disappearance.....A true story or another Tall Tale?????

Moon Mater is the eighth episode in the Cars Toon series. It was released on DVD and Blu-ray a few days ago on November 2, 2010 and will air sometime in 2011 on TV.

The episode starts with Mater and Lightning McQueen are driving around, and then they see the Moon. They both stare at it in awe, while then Mater claims he has already been there before.
A true story or another Tall Tale?????

Disney Cars Toons Episode 3 - El Materdor

El Materdor is the third episode on the Disney Cars Toon Animated Short Series , Mater's Tall tales . The Short was originally aired on October 29 ,2008 on the Disney Channel , Toon Disney and ABC Family.

El Materdor - The Story:

Lightning McQueen and Mater drive by a herd of bulldozers near Radiator Springs. Mater tells McQueen that they are just like the one he used to fight. The film goes to Spain in a stadium full of fans. A bulldozer enters

the stadium and fights Mater. Mater has his red cloth and the Bulldozer chases it. Every time the Bulldozer missed Mater, Mater and the crowd say "Ole!". The bulldozer gets ready to charge at Mater. Mater taunts the Bulldozer and it charges. Mater spins around and the bulldozer falls over. As Mater turns to face the crowd the bulldozer charges again at Mater, this time bulldozing Mater into the ground. The red cloth falls onto the pile on dirt Mater is under. The crowd cheers. Mater's hood falls off. Suddenly more bulldozers enter the stadium and charge at Mater. He jumps and all the bulldozers crash into each other. Then a whole bunch of bulldozers enter the stadium. Back at Radiator Springs McQueen asks Mater what happened next. Mater reminded McQueen that he was there too. Back in Spain, the bulldozers chase Lightning McQueen because of his red paint job. At Radiator Springs McQueen told Mater that, it did not happen. Mater tells Lightning McQueen to tell that to the bulldozers, who chase him down the road.

Rescue Squad Mater is the First episode on the Disney Cars Toon Animated Short Series , Mater's Tall tales . The Short was originally aired on October 27 ,2008 on the Disney Channel , Toon Disney and ABC Family.

Rescue Squad Mater - The Story:

Lightning McQueen and Mater are driving in Radiator Springs and drive past Red. Mater tells McQueen that he used to be a firetruck but McQueen does not believe Mater. The film then shows a burning building (the gasoline and match factory) and many cars are scared. Mater is then shown as a firetruck and the fire alarm rings. Mater quickly zooms over to the burning building and shoots water at the burning building. Tia and Mia are there too and are painted white with black spots like Dalmatians. Then the film goes back to Lightning McQueen and Mater. McQueen tells Mater that he does not believe him about being a firetruck. Mater tells McQueen to remember that he was there too. The film then goes back to Rescue Squad Mater rescuing Lightning McQueen from the building and put into an ambulance just when the building blows up. McQueen is then rushed to the hospital and seen going though may doors and then seen in Dr. Mater's office revealing that Mater is a doctor too. Tia and Mia also appear as nurses. McQueen is then seen screaming as he is getting repaired. Back in Radiator Springs McQueen argue about if in is true or not by saying did not and did to when the yellow nurse drives by Mater and Mater says, "Did, too" and drives away and the film ends.
