The New Monster Truck Mater Toys – Frightning McMean & Cars Toons Monster Truck Wrastlin’ Ring.

The 107th annual American International Toy Fair in New York City and was more than exciting. In honor of the 1200+ exhibitors showing off their latest and greatest in toys, we thought we’d take a sneak peek at some of the new Disney Cars toys from Mattel that you can expect to find later on this year.
In the Cars Toons shorts (currently shown on Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney.com), the tow truck Mater tells tall tales that inevitably get his friend Lightning McQueen into some sort of jam. In the future release of The Disney Cars Toon Short , Monster Truck Mater , Mater becomes a professional wrestler who works his way up the ranks from amateur to World Champion Monster Truck Wrestler, wrestling all kinds of characters along the way. When faced with his biggest opponent yet, Mater tags in his “tag team partner,” Frightening McMean.
Disney Cars Toon Frightening McMeanCars Toons Frightening McMean by MATTEL mixes monster trucks, wrestling, and the Disney/Pixar film “Cars” into one fun package. This toy features Lightning in his Frightening McMean monster truck wrestling persona.
The larger version of Frightening McMean (Ages 3+; Available August) features a raised chasis, monster truck wheels and a custom paint job. Touch the hood of the car to invoke sounds and soundbites from the CARS Toon that inspired him.
Disney Cars Toon Monster Truck ArenaCars Toons Monster Truck Wrastlin’ Ring from MattelMcMean and other CARS Monster Trucks will also be available in 1:55 scale, which is just perfect for the CARS Toons Monster Truck Wrastlin’ Ring (Ages 4+; Available July) which helps re-create the final match showdown from Monster Truck Mater. The ring’s floor is even motorized to help with the ground-shaking action.
