Cars Land
A new expanssion of the Disney's California Adventure park is scheduled to be opened around June of 2012 and as you probably guessed the new addition is Cars Land. The designated area of 12-acre land would be part of a $1.1 Billion expansion plan for DCA (Disney California Adventure Park) is known today as the Timon Parking Lot behind "A Bug's Land" and Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. The new theme park ispired by the Disney-Pixar Animated movie Cars and would include new dining and shopping areas as well as new attractions : The Major Disney Cars-Themed Thrill ride :Radiator Springs Racers (similar to the Test Track ride in Walt Disney World) , and two lesser family-friendly rides : Luigi's Roaming tires (similar to Disneyland Flying Saucers) and Tow Mater's JunkYard Jamboree.
The new rides will include all of Disney's ride features : Technology , Theme , Special effects , Iteractivity , Animatronics , story lines and thrills.
During the makeover Disney would also upgrade other areas of the 8 year old theme park with new movie Toy Story and Little Mermaid themed rides added to the park.
Along with the new Cars Toons , future release of Cars 2 a new line of Disney Cars Toys would be released featuring old and new characters.
