Mater PI and Moon Mater are really well done & there's alot of possibilities for new toys - who knows , we may even see Black & White Mater PI Toys.

Disney has just released 2 short Trailers for Moon Mater & Mater Pi - the 2 new Mater Tall Tale episodes that are going to be featured in the upcoming Cars Toon DVD Collection.

Apple's iTunes Store In The US Has Just Made Cars Toon DVD Collection Available For Pre-Orders. UK Store Offer Cars Toon Bundle And Should Make The DVD Available Only In March

iTunes Store has just made Cars Toon - Mater's Tall Tales available for online pre-order at $14.99 and the HD version for $19.99 (for Mac & Windows 7 Computers).
So if you intend to stream it from your computer or portable device the HD version would provide you high quality and several devices (if you use the same account)

Mater: Private Eye

Mater is a private investigator working on a case of counterfeit tires when Tia rolls back into his life. She hires Mater to find her sister, Mia, who’s been car-napped. Mater searches for clues and closes in on a major crime scene. Lieutenant Lightning McQueen arrives just in time to help bring the criminals to justice.

Moon Mater

Mater is the first Tow Truck on the moon. His mission: Rescue the Impala XIII by giving him a tow and bringing him back to Earth. Lightning McQueen joins Mater and they are met with a hero’s welcome

Disney Cars Toys – Cars 2 movie plot released

John Lasseter, revealed the Cars 2 Plot at a Disney presentation in London. The Movie , which is the sequel of the successful animated movie Cars (2006) is scheduled to be released in Summer of 2011 and would take up the role of Mater to the next level.
Mater , Voiced by Larry the Cable Guy , which mainly appeared as a comic relief in the first movie gets upgraded from a run down tow truck to Lightning McQueen's new Pit Boss/"wanna be spy" in a non stop world-wide comedy-spy thriller.
McQueen , the popular Disney Cars Toys character , competes in the Race of Champions which takes place in five different locations starting at Tokyo (Mount Fuji) , Germany Black Forest , Porto Corso in Italy , a 24 hour race around Paris and ends in Buckingham Palace (London). During these races ,Mater gets involved in a case of Mistaken Identity and becomes involved in a Spy thriller against Finn McMissle and his agents and ends with a action adventure twist.
The inspiration for this plot came to the Disney Pixar Maestro during his travels to Europe while he was wondering what would happen if the characters would be placed on foreign soil. The new movie is directed by Ratatouille's Director , Brad Lewis and would surely be one of next Summer's big hits. Disney Cars Toys would continue to follow the story and release more info in the future....

Finding Nemo
From The New Yorker
The latest flood of wizardry from Pixar, whose productions, from Toy Story onward, have lent an indispensable vigor and wit to the sagging art of mainstream animation. Whether the new movie, directed by Andrew Stanton, will add much to that resuscitation is another matter. Albert Brooks provides the voice of Marlin, a non-amusing clown fish who sees his young son, Nemo, borne off in a diver's net. Not to be daunted, and plainly unfazed by the threat of both sharks and sentimentality, Marlin sets off to rescue his only child. You'll never guess how it ends. The technical skill on show is beyond question, but, as yet another computer-generated seascape ripples past, you may be tempted to ask whether that skill is driving the story; Marlin just drifts from one semi-heroic feat to the next, and the characters seldom get their hooks, or their jaws, into you with the pointed, snippy comedy that we have come to associate with Woody and Buzz Lightyear. Also, not to be impolite or anything, but how expressive is a fish, until it hits a grill? The Incredibles
