Disney Cars Final Lap Line – Last Chance To Collect The CARS line

It’s The Final Lap And Race To The Finish!
Collect 40 New Characters From The Cars Movie,
but don’t speed by any classics you missed the first time around!

The Final Lap Series Is Probably The Last Original CARS Line that is still in production before the release date of Cars 2 , scheduled for June 24 ,2011.
The title Final Lap has nothing to do with any scene of the movie but rather implies that this is truely – the last and FINAL line of the original CARS movie. The Final Lap Cars were originally set to be target exclusive when they first appeared in late 2009 , but these new original designs found their way to other retail stores and our online store.
Eventually , based on the card back we should have more than 40 (Last count was 49) new original designs some unusual and unique like the Race Damaged Mood Springs and One Eyed Mater and some that have been out already in the Disney lenticular cars version such as Bubble Gum Mater.

Disney Cars Lenticular – what’s available and how’s it’s done

Disney’s Lenticular Cars

The Lenticular Series adds another level of personalty and fun to already amazing collection of Disney Diecast Cars . The new Disney Cars animated sensation continues with the Cars Character Cars Assortment featuring character vehicles with changing lenticular eyes that really bring the characters to life! These 1:55 scale die-cast cars are big on personality and detail. There are currently 2 releases of Disney Cars Lenticulars referred as Series 1 & 2 offering different and attractive designs.

Lenticular Printing

The Cars Character With Lenticular Eyes use the Lenticular Printing Technology.
Lenticular printing is a technology in which a lenticular lens is used to produce images with an illusion of depth, or the ability to change or move as the image is viewed from different angles. The lenticular printing include Disney Cars that showed flip and animation effects such as winking eyes, and modern airport advertising graphics that change their message depending on the viewing angle. This technology was created in the 1940s but has evolved in recent years to show more motion and increased depth. Originally used mostly in novelty items, lenticular prints are now being used as a marketing tool to show products in motion.

How does Lenticular Printing work?

Images are interlaced on the substrate.
This process takes a batch of images and prints alternating strips of each image on the back of a transparent plastic sheet. The plastic sheet has a series of curved ridges. Each curved ridge is a lenticule. When light passes through the plastic sheet, it is reflected from smooth white paper under the plastic sheet. The end result is that a single eye or camera looking at the print sees a single whole image, but an eye or camera with a different angle of view will see a different image.

Disney’s Cars Haulers provide some unique advantage in Appearance & Functionality

They are so big the can carry almost everything – gas , lumber maybe even steel but Disney Cars Haulers have a special calling – their cargo , unlike most haulers , are non other than The Piston Cup Race Cars .
Amongst the most popular are , of course , Mack The Truck (#95) – Lightning McQueen’s Road Companion , Gray (The King’s Haulers) & Rod (Chick Hicks’ Haulers) which is more than natural being the carriers of the three Piston Cup finalist . I’ve done some research , checking some online stores and distributers, and produced the Ultimate Xmas List for a Cars Fan . The list contains some must have toys ,that have been around for a while ,and of course new cool stuff that just came out. So here it comes The Disney Cars Toys‘ Ultimate Christmas 2009 List :

The animated sensation Cars was a big hit with kids all over the world. The movie spawned a variety of Cars-themed toys and accessories. So, we weren’t at all surprised when the hottest name in kid’s motorized toys came out with a Power Wheels Lighting McQueen toy car. What kid wouldn’t want to crawl behind the wheel of their very own race car themed after their favorite movie? There’s more to like than just the name of the toy, which any kid will recognize. Some toy manufacturers simply stamp on the character’s name and call it day. But this motorized racecar is actually a quality toy, with plenty of fun features to enjoy. power wheels lightning mcqueen Fun Lighting McQueen Features The overall design of the Power Wheels Lightning McQueen racecar is impressive. There’s also a one-year bumper-to-bumper warranty included, just in case your little one loses a wheel or bumps a curb. With a price tag of over $200, it’s nice to know that the toy is covered under a warranty. There is some minor assembly required, but it’s relatively easy. Overall, we think this is a high-quality toy. Kids will learn how to go forward and backwards, and turn left and right all while enjoying the run and excitement that goes along with riding in a car styled after their favorite character.
