Doc Hudson Character Would Not Appear In Cars 2

Based on an interview with Larry The Cable Guy , who’s been reprising the voice of the Southern-fried tow truck Tow Mater in Cars 2 since last summer, Doc Hudson's Character would not be featured in the sequel.Voiced by non other than the late Paul Newman , the character of Doc Hudson was set to feature prominently in the sequel . However , Paul's death from lung cancer in Sep 2008 has placed Pixar in an uneasy situation to find a voice replacement .

“It’s a shame he’s still not around,” says Larry The Cable Guy in the recent interview, “They were thinking about getting a voice to sound like him. But then they decided it would be disrespectful, and I agree. You can’t impersonate one of the greats.

“They’ll have some storyline to where he’s moved on or something, and maybe they’re going to do some kind of tribute or something at the end. I’d like to tell you more, but I’m sworn to secrecy.”Doc Hudson , known as the Faboulous Hudson Hornet & Doc is the Judge and Doctor of Radiator Springs . He is a legend on the racing tracks ,Holding the record for most wins in a single season and three in a row Piston Cup Championships in 1951 , 1952 & 1953.

He is also the owner of the town’s tire store, Luigi’s Cassa del la Tires (“ . . . home of the Leaning Tower of Tires”). If you're gonna be driving through this world, why not look good doing it? Luigi is one of the more likable Disney Cars Characters due to his enthusiasm towards his work (he takes his job very seriously). His partner at work, who is also from Italy, is Guido; whose one dream is to perform a real “pit stop” on a racecar during a race. It’s truly hilarious to see Luigi and Guido interact with Lightning McQueen, as he’s the first real racecar they’ve seen in years; and their attitude towards McQueen abruptly changes when they find he’s not a European car!

At the end of the movie , McQueen directs a group of Italian sports cars — a Ferrari (voiced by Michael Schumacher) and two Maserati Quattroportes — to his shop, having recommended it. The presence of a celebrity Ferrari in their store causes both Luigi and Guido to faint from shock and happiness.

For the Italian version of the film, Luigi was voiced by comedian Marco Della Noce; one of Della Noce's most popular characters was "Oriano Ferrari", a parody character meant to represent the leader of Ferrari's pit stop crew

Pickup Truck Mater – Disney Cars Movie rising star

Pickup Mater has done a long way since his part on Disney Cars Movie and is now one of the most favorable animated characters

Mater ,Lightning McQueen's best friend and side kick didn't get much screen time in the Disney Cars movie , however this heart and Soul of Radiator Springs was one of the most popular and adored characters by kids all over the world. Mater's lived in Radiator Springs his whole life. In his younger days, he used to be a real handful around town, playing pranks on everyone, tippin' tractors, saying inappropriate things at the wrong time, but luckily he's matured a lot since then. Mater's a good ol' boy with a big heart and the only tow truck in Radiator Springs. He run's Tow Mater's Towing and Salvage and manages the local impound lot. Though a little rusty, he has the quickest towrope in Carburetor County and is always the first to lend a helping hand and sees the bright side of any situation.

Since the release of the Movie , Mater turned into a shooting star , starring in 3 Cars Toon Shorts (Mater the Greater , Rescue Car Mater and Tokyo Mater) with an additional 3 new Cars toon to be released on ABC Channel starting this Novemeber (Unidentified Flying Mater , Monster Truck Mater , Heavy Metal Mater ).

Mater would also have a main role in the new animated sequel Cars 2 movie , in which he is involved in a case of mistaken identity.

Disney Cars Toys – Lightning McQueen

Lightning McQueen

Lightning McQueen is one of the most popular Disney Cars Toys characters - he is a young, quick racecar. Throughout his rookie season, he was known as a "One man show", constantly firing crew chiefs and forcing other crew members to quit. Lightning had the lead in the Piston Cup, ahead of Strip Weathers(a.k.a. The King) and Chick Hicks by about half a lap, and beating the other racers as well. When McQueen refused to have his tires changed, his tires began to wear out and pop on the final stretch. This allowed The King and Hicks to catch up, and the race ended with a three-way tie. On his way to California for the tie-breaker and a shot with Dinoco, McQueen became separated from his driver.

McQueen found himself in a small town, Radiator Springs, on the historic root 66. By the

time McQueen got out or Radiator Springs, he had made new friends, and learned there's more than winning. In the final three-way tie breaking race, Hicks bumped into the King, and sent the King out of control. It was a fatal crash, and McQueen was too far ahead for Hicks to catch up. It appeared that McQueen had earned the Piston Cup. However, McQueen stopped just before the finish line, went back to the King, and helped him cross the finish line. Although McQueen did not cross the finish line first, many say that he was the true winner. McQueen will return once again for another season of racing.
