Disney Cars Deleted Scenes – Top Down Truck Stop

While traveling down Interstate 40 to California, McQueen is able to convince Mack,his transport truck, to drive non-stop and reach the race track before his competitors. Driving all night , with no stops takes the toll on Mack leading to seperation of the two. While trying to catch up McQueen becomes lost on U.S. Route 66, catching the attention of the local Radiator Springs Sheriff in the process. A chase ensues, during which McQueen crashes and gets tangled in wires, damaging part of the town’s main street in the process.

In the early version of the the Disney Cars story , Lightning McQueen gets seperated from Mack after taking a break on at the Top Down Truck Stop , the last Truck stop within 500 miles.

The following Top Down Truck Stop scene was one of the considered stories to that provided a different angle to the events that lead to the seperation of Lightning McQueen and his road companion , Mack on the Way to The Piston Cup race.
